Here’s your weekly recap—the most viewed news stories on our site for the week ended July 23, 2022.
 
The biggest story last week was the announcement that Halsey, aka Ashley Frangipane, is launching a second beauty brand on July 25, and it’s exclusive to Walmart. af94 will debut on Walmart’s website, and will roll out to 2,900 doors.
 
In packaging news, Revlon partnered with Origin Materials to develop sustainable packaging for cosmetics. Origin Materials is a carbon negative materials company, and has a mission to “help the world transition to sustainable materials,” the company says. Its partners include LVMH and PepsiCo.
 
In makeup news, Makeup Revolution introduced its new IRL Filter Foundation—launching exclusively at Ulta Beauty stores nationwide. The breathable foundation is a long-wearing formula that comes in 30 inclusive shades.
